Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 22, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize you across pages and visits, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. We also use related technologies such as local storage and pixel tags; we refer to these collectively as “cookies” in this policy.

2. Categories We Use

Strictly Necessary

Required

Required for the Service to function. These include the session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a cookie that remembers your cookie preferences.

Examples: sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token (Supabase auth); cookie-consent (your choice on this banner).

Analytics

Optional

Help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. Aggregated and anonymized; not used to identify you individually.

Examples: Vercel Analytics first-party cookies.

Functional

Optional

Remember non-essential preferences such as UI state and recent inputs in tools like the Four-Prong Scanner.

Examples: bis_booted_v3 (Terminal boot animation seen this session).

3. Your Choices

You can accept all categories, reject non-essential categories, or manage your choice from the cookie banner shown on first visit. You can change your choice later by clearing your cookies and reloading the site, or by emailing info@biointelscan.com.

Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may break parts of the Service that depend on Strictly Necessary cookies (in particular, you will be signed out).

4. Third Parties

Some cookies are set by third parties we rely on to operate the Service, including:

  • Stripe — sets cookies during checkout to prevent fraud and process payments.
  • Vercel — sets analytics and performance cookies as our hosting provider.
  • Supabase — sets session cookies as our authentication provider.

These providers handle their own data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no single industry standard for how DNT should be honored. We currently do not respond differently based on the DNT signal but you can manage your preferences using the cookie banner.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version.

7. Contact

Questions about cookies can be sent to info@biointelscan.com.
